Ingredients

½ kilogram of Cassava flour or yuca flour

250 milliliters of Cold milk

½ A tablespoon of salt

125 milliliters of Oil

1 Egg

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the donuts, start by mixing the flour, 125 ml of cold milk, and the salt in a bowl, combining the ingredients with your hands.

Step 2 : In a saucepan, bring 125 ml of milk with 125 ml of oil to a boil.

Step 3 : Once it reaches boiling point, remove from heat and pour into the bowl with the flour mixture.

Step 4 : Stir until achieving a warm, smooth consistency that doesn’t stick to the hands, then add the egg to make the texture more sticky, similar to a white sauce.

Step 5 : Next, prepare a piping bag and, on a tray previously greased with butter, form the donuts with the dough.

Step 6 : Bake in a preheated oven at a high temperature until the donuts puff up.

Step 7 : Then, reduce the temperature and check the consistency of the donuts, which should be firm to the touch to ensure they are ready.

Step 8 : Ideally, the donuts should turn out crispy when baked.
