12 Corn cobs
1 cup of Sugar
Coconut milk
Preparation
Step 1 : The corn leaves should be thoroughly cleaned before being used as wraps for the pamonha.
Step 2 : The grated corn is placed in a processor along with the coconut milk and sugar, achieving a uniform mixture.
Step 3 : Subsequently, this mixture is placed inside the corn leaves and carefully wrapped, ensuring they are well sealed.
Step 4 : It is important to tie the pamonhas with thread or twine before placing them in a pot of boiling water for about an hour.
Step 5 : Once cooked, they are removed from the pot and drained to eliminate excess liquid.
Step 6 : The pamonhas are ready to enjoy, served either cold or hot.
