Baião-de-dois (Rice with Beans)
Ingredients
½ kilogram of Green beans
½ kilogram of Rice
2 Diced tomatoes
3 Crushed garlic cloves
4 tablespoons of Oil
2 tablespoons of Tomato paste
Aromatic herbs
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : The beans are cooked in salted water until tender, reserving the cooking broth.
Step 2 : In a pot, heat the oil and sauté the crushed garlic cloves along with the diced tomatoes.
Step 3 : When these ingredients are golden and fragrant, add the tomato paste and mix well to combine the flavors.
Step 4 : Then, add the rice and sauté it in the sauté, allowing it to absorb the aromas and flavors present.
