Ingredients

2 kilograms of Sea bass

400 milliliters of Coconut milk

1 cup of Water or fish broth

3 Tomatoes

2 Lemons

½ Red pepper

½ Green pepper

1 Large onion

1 Cilantro bunch

3 tablespoons of Palm oil

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this exquisite dish, start by slicing the fish into pieces, then season it with lemon juice and salt to taste, and let it marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, proceed to slice the vegetables: tomatoes, onions, and peppers, as well as the cilantro, leaving 1 or 2 sprigs aside for garnish at the end.

Step 3 : Then, in a pot with a little oil over heat, layer the moqueca: place half of the vegetables with half of the cilantro, add the fish, and then add the remaining vegetables and cilantro.

Step 4 : Let the vegetables on the bottom cook for 1 or 2 minutes, then add the coconut milk, water or broth, and palm oil.

Step 5 : Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, adding salt to taste at the end of cooking.

Step 6 : To serve, garnish with cilantro and accompany with collard greens or white rice.
