Fish Moqueca

Ingredients

1 kilogram of Fish fillets

½ cup of Lemon juice

2 Sliced onions

3 Sliced tomatoes

2 Sliced green peppers

1 Cilantro bunch

2 tablespoons of Olive oil

1 can of Coconut milk

6 tablespoons of Dendê oil

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To start, season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and let them rest for a moment.

Step 2 : Then, in a large pot, heat the olive oil and place a layer of the fish fillets on the bottom.

Step 3 : Next, in a blender, combine the onion, pepper, cilantro, tomatoes, coconut milk, and dendê oil until you obtain a smooth, uniform sauce.

Step 4 : Once the sauce is prepared, pour a little over the fish in the pot and continue layering with fish and sauce until all ingredients are used.

Step 5 : Finally, cover the pot and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, or until the fish is well cooked and the flavors are perfectly integrated.
