Ingredients
1 kilogram of Sarapatel
5 Garlic cloves
4 tablespoons of Vinegar
1 Paprika
4 Tomatoes
3 Large onions
3 Bay leaves
½ cup of Oil
Lemons
Chives
Cilantro
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, the grains should be soaked in water for 2 hours and then drained.
Step 2 : Meanwhile, in a pressure cooker, the salted meat is cooked for 15 minutes, cut into pieces, and set aside.
Step 3 : In another container, the ribs are chopped, fried in oil along with the sausages until golden, and the frying fat is reserved.
Step 4 : In a separate skillet, the salted meat, sausages, and ribs are combined with onion, parsley, and garlic.
Step 5 : Canjinha is added, stirring constantly to prevent sticking to the skillet's bottom, and the reserved frying fat is drizzled on top.
Step 6 : Water is added to the mixture, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste, and additional water is added until the Canjinha is cooked.
Step 7 : The dish is served hot, accompanied by bread.
