Seafood Feijoada

Ingredients

2 cups of Squid

2 cups of Shrimp

1 cup of Variety of seafood (use what you like most)

1 Onion

3 Garlic cloves

2 Bay leaves

2 tablespoons of Olive oil

2 Ripe tomatoes

1 cup of Chopped parsley

1 Fish broth packet

1 pinch of Salt

Allspice

Calabrian pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the seafood beans, start by cooking the beans in fish broth with a bay leaf.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, in a skillet, sauté the chopped onion, minced garlic, and a bay leaf until the onion turns golden.

Step 3 : Then, add the chopped tomatoes without seeds or skin and cook a little longer.

Step 4 : Next, add the sliced squid to the stew and season with salt, black pepper, and Calabrian pepper.

Step 5 : Let cook for about 5 minutes until the squid begins to soften.

Step 6 : Then add the shrimp and the rest of the seafood, cooking for another 5 minutes.

Step 7 : Mix in the cooked beans, some of the previous cooking broth, and let it simmer for a few more minutes.

Step 8 : Finally, garnish with chopped parsley, and the seafood beans will be ready to serve.
