Ingredients
250 grams of Butter
250 grams of Sugar
250 grams of Flour
½ can of Guava jam
5 Eggs
Preparation
Step 1 : The oven should be preheated to 160°C and a baking pan should be prepared by lining it with parchment paper.
Step 2 : In a bowl, mix the sugar and butter until you obtain a homogeneous and smooth cream.
Step 3 : Next, incorporate the eggs one by one, adding them gently and softly to maintain the fluffy texture of the mixture.
Step 4 : Gradually add the sifted wheat flour to the mixture, mixing with gentle motions to prevent lumps from forming.
Step 5 : Pour the resulting batter into the prepared pan and spread it with a spatula, ensuring a uniform and smooth layer.
Step 6 : Bake for approximately three minutes, taking care not to over-dry the cake.
Step 7 : Once ready, remove from the oven and place on a cloth sprinkled with sugar.
Step 8 : Carefully, remove the parchment paper and spread the melted guava jam evenly over the still-warm cake.
Step 9 : Finally, carefully roll up the cake forming a cylinder, repeating the process if you want multiple layers.
