Ingredients
1 Coconut
12 Eggs
1 tablespoon of Butter
400 grams of Sugar
1 tablespoon of Water
1 tablespoon of Lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1 : The preparation begins by extracting the pulp from the coconut and grating it.
Step 2 : Meanwhile, in a saucepan, place the sugar, lemon juice, and water over low heat until a thick syrup forms.
Step 3 : Separate the egg yolks from the whites, beat the yolks, and mix them with the syrup and grated coconut, stirring the mixture with a wooden spoon.
Step 4 : Let it rest for one hour.
Step 5 : Prepare glass or paper molds, pour the mixture into them, and bake in a water bath at 180°C.
Step 6 : Once they set, remove from the oven and let cool.
Step 7 : Subsequently, refrigerate and they're ready to enjoy.
